AEE, the reference

The natural and environmental resources of our country, together with the industry, developers and technology have allowed the wind power sector to establish itself at the peak of the world´s leadership.

The growth and consolidation of this sector are a real alternative to comply with the commitments taken at the Kyoto protocol.

Wind power currently assumes great challenges that require of a clear positioning from the companies involved integrating its technical capacity and channelling their company aspirations.

MAIN CHALLENGES

From its foundation, the aims of the Association have been:

• A framework for a long term retributive stability
• A framework for administrative transparency
• A coordination forum for development and infrastructure management

ACTION LINES

To achieve all this, the Association has several objectives:

• To overcome the technical and statutory barriers that affect the growth of wind power
• To maintain and consolidate the retributive regimen of the electrical production of wind origin that allows the sustainable development of the sector
• To become the meeting point for the main characters of the wind power market and the only valid interlocutor of the sector
• To generate opportunities and to attract investment for the development of wind energy

PROCEDURE

And all this is accomplished thanks to the work of the Association:

• Incorporating a great number of sector companies: developers, manufacturers, finance entities, insurance companies, suppliers...
• Making the most of its member capacities and concentrating their efforts
• Supporting and getting support from regional wind Associations
• Keeping a permanent cooperation with the Administration
• Intensifying the exchange of data and experiences with all of the agents involved in electrical activities
