Wind
World-leading trade fair "Wind" takes place every 2 years as part of the HANOVER MESSE (8-12 April 2013). "Wind" is an ideal platform for presenting wind energy in the context of the entire supply chain and conventional energy generation. Within the HANOVER MESSE, suppliers, manufacturers, power plant operators, energy supply companies and end users can come together on a level playing field. Issues relating to the integration of this technology into the energy mix will be discussed at "Wind", with exhibitors explaining their approaches. This will include topics such as grid stability and expansion, guaranteeing the base load and storage options. Wind's core offering includes turbines, components and services. Hall 27 (the energy mix hall) brings together the most important technologies for energy geneartion. Apart from "Wind", this includes "Power Plant Technology", the world-leading trade fair for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of power plants, together with the focal topic of renewables. In addition, by being directly linked with Motion, Drive and Automation, the world-leading trade fair for drive and fluid technology, it is possible to present the entire supply chain for wind energy in Hanover. There are further links to world-leading trade fairs such as SurfaceTechnology, Industrial Supply, ComVac (compressed air and vacuum technology) and Industrial Automation. "Wind" takes place in Hanover every other year, alternating with HusumWindEnergy.
