Difko acquires projects with planning permissions and then constructs and builds wind turbine projects by using its own funds. We have many years of experience as a provider of wind turbine projects. Back in 1985-88, Difko supplied 1.100 Danish manufactured wind turbines to California, USA, on behalf of Danish investors in nine different investment projects. This made Difko one of the first providers of wind turbine projects in the world. Today, Difko is one of the largest Danish providers of wind turbine projects for Danish investors. We have designed and offered projects rated at a total of more than 250 MW in USA, Germany, France and Denmark. One of our core areas is to offer high quality, sound wind turbine projects that meet the criteria of high level of security and good returns. We keep abreast of developments in the European wind turbine markets and offer our projects in countries where they can operate within appropriate political and financial parameters. Particularly Germany and France have become good markets for Difko projects. Difko currently operates wind farms totalling 120 MW in these two markets.
