Energiequelle GmbH has been active across Europe in the field of renewable energies since 1997. It is one of the leading companies for planning, project implementation and operational management of wind, solar and bioenergy plants as well as for transformer stations. By June 2008, the company had installed 440 wind turbnes with a total output of 663.5 MW, 9 transformer stations with a total of about 633.2 MW, 8 photovoltaic plants with about 19,115 MW and 13 biogas plants with about 8 MW in Germany alone. The number of further projects is growing apace, and comprises countries such as Bosnia, Bulgaria, France, Greece, the UK, Ireland, Itly, Croatia, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Turkey, Canada and Mexico.
