GEO-NET Umweltconsulting GmbH has been active in the wind energy sector since 2000. Over 1000 projects in more than 35 countries have provided GEO-NET with comprehensive global experience. GEO-NET Umweltconsulting GmbH is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for wind and energy yield predictions, wind assessment, wind measurement and 60% reference yield certification under the German Renewable Energies Act. Wind measurements required for site assessment exclusively rely on the accredited process of numerical simulation using the globally applicable three-dimensional mesoscalic model FITNAH-3D based on 30-year observations of high altitude wind. In 2009 GEO-NET opened its Portugal office which primarily services Portugal and Latin America.
