engineering firm IEL has been specialising in the areas of wind energy and
noise and immission control since 1993. In the course of our projects, we have
drawn up expert, advisory and test reports for several thousand wind turbines.
IEL GmbH is
nominated by the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Environment as a monitoring body
in the area of noise control in accordance with §§ 26 and 28 of the German
Immission Control Act (BImSchG).
IEL GmbH is
accredited by the German accreditation body Dakks (DAP-PL-4013.00) to DIN EN
ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for the following areas of activity:

Determination of wind potential and energy yields of wind turbines
including testing input data for wind climatology

Creation of proof of 60% reference yield in accordance with the EEG on
the basis of determining wind potential and energy yields

Determination and evaluation of times and frequencies of shade cast by
rotors at immission sites to be evaluated

Determination of the necessary reduction in immissions and the
associated loss in yields from turbines
