It is very important that wind turbine lubricants provide appropriate protection for gearboxes against corrosion, wear and tear. Most of oil system failures are caused by contaminated oil, thus oil quality and cleanliness have a great impact on the lifetime of bearings and gearbox performance. Contaminants such as solid particles or moisture can enter the gearbox during manufacturing, assembly, maintenance and commissioning, can enter through seals, deaerators or be internally generated. Proper oil maintenance, monitoring and filtration are an essential part of structured preventive maintenance programs. In order to significantly improve the dependability and extend the service life of wind turbines, INTERNORMEN offers a variety of products: filtration and lubrication systems for gears, contamination and condition monitoring systems (metal particle, solid contamination and water-in-oil monitoring systems) heating systems and filtration units.
The Twinfil Filter Systems are specially designed lubricating systems for gears that reliably supply all lubrication points and ensure filtration and deaeration of the system. The systems are engineered for low noise emission, prolonging the lubricant's service life, indicating the oil's operating condition and simple servicing. The HS heating systems provide for quick additional heating of oil in the gears, when due to low temperatures and extreme conditions the oil viscosity reaches up to 160 000 cSt(mm2/s). Maintenance-free, equipped with a monitoring device (to prevent the overheating of oil) and fitted for temperatures from 100°C to -40°C.
The Condition Monitoring Systems are accurate, immediate, mobile and stationary fluid monitoring and particle counting systems (ISO, SAE, NAS standards).
