Release agents of highest quality

Münch Chemie International GmbH develops specialist, environmentally friendly, water-based release agents for the rotor blade industry.

Münch Chemie International GmbH has over 50 years of experience in the field of release agent technology, which is used in various branches of industry: tyre industry, polyurethane processing, automotive and aerospace industries, shipbuilding and wind power.
In developing the brand new Mikon® product series, engineers at Münch Chemie International GmbH have succeeded in permanently changing a market that previously had some extremely unfavourable aspects in relation to the environment, health and efficiency.

The product is innovative because it does not use solvents.
Mikon® allows multiple release processes after a single application and exhibits excellent separation and process properties.
The raw materials used are incorporated into an aqueous matrix in an emulsifying process specially developed by MCI. This is having a very positive impact on the health statistics for employees working in industries that use release agents and is bringing about a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.
The potential risks are also completely eliminated during transport and storage, as well as in the moulding process of composite components.
With the development of the completely new Mikon® series, users are seeing a decisive cost saving (-70% personnel) and an optimum output (flawless surfaces) due to the significantly improved release properties.
The development work at MCI has not gone unnoticed by the international trade press either. Münch Chemie Int. GmbH was awarded for its achievement last October with the JEC Asia Innovation Award. This award, which was presented in Singapore, has only been awarded globally seven times, demonstrating the enormous significance of the product development work at Münch.
