Execution of construction work and structural analysis ready for certification, concerning prestressed concrete towers / hybrid towers and their foundation.
Hybrid tower construction represents an advantageous and economic solution
for multi-megawatt turbines and high hub heights. Oevermann’s patented tower shaft
construction consists of a lower externally pre-stressed concrete section manufactured
in climbing stages and an upper steel section. For over a decade this principle has proved its
worth in a wide range of tower construction projects.
The
necessary engineering services for such optimized tower construction are made available
to our customers during the development stage of wind energy projects. Our services include the initial conceptualization,
preliminary design and pre-dimensioning with initial cost estimates, and the provision of final
construction design ready for certification.
Once the final design has been approved, we manage the entire tower construction
process including the foundation, earthworks and road construction. Our well-established construction
processes make use of cost-effective technologies to keep construction periods to
a minimum and to ensure top building quality. The hybrid tower concept also allows
the implementation of future-oriented sustainability criteria with respect to
life span, disassembly and options for repowering.
Our ability to develop complete solutions based on
innovative planning and high quality construction make Oevermann an ideal
partner for building contractors, manufacturers of wind turbines and wind farm
operators.
