PLANkon engineering company has been dealing with the technical planning and implementation of wind energy projects since its foundation in 1996. Currently we are a team of seven (2011) who are able to work in German and English as well as communicate in Russian and Polish. Our work is truly international, spanning Europe and the rest of the world. We provide consultancy, preliminary studies and expert reports on all aspects of wind farming and for every phase of your project, such as energy yield prognosis, noise, shadow flicker assessment, EIA, landscape management plans, turbulence, decommissioning etc. We also plan, carry out and assess wind measurements, provide advice and support during planning processes, as well as coordinate and manage the necessary planning and approval procedures. Last not least we support our clients in the construction of a wind farm, where we draw up the necessary implementation plans, are always ready with advice, organise tenders and provide site management.
Over the years we have accumulated a long list of references and considerable experience with managing and implementing national and international projects.

PLANkon is accredited by the German Accreditation Council (DAR), and accredited as a test laboratory according to DIN ISO 17025 in the fields of wind energy yield, solar energy yield, turbulence and wind measurement. Continuous quality management is an essential part of this.  

We are members of various professional bodies (BWE, FGW, DGS and Eurosolar) where we take an active part in committee work. We are speakers of the Wind Measurement Advisory Board, the Planning Advisory Board of the BWE, and members of the technical committee of the FGW (Association for the Promotion of Wind Energy).
