Education and training in wind energy with technical and non-technical focus, international transfer of knowledge
Renewables Academy AG (RENAC) is a
global provider of training in the field of renewables and energy-efficient
technologies. Addressing professionals and newcomers alike we offer a broad
range of courses on wind energy that reflect the entire value chain.
Our non-technical courses give well-founded
insight into current national and global economic trends and market developments,
the various wind turbine technologies, economic calculation models and
questions of grid connection. RENAC also provides knowledge on full life cycle
strategies. Covering the legal framework, administration, project management
and financial aspects, participants learn how to plan wind energy projects
efficiently and how to secure solid financing.
Technical courses cover all necessary knowledge on modern wind turbines,
ranging from wind resource assessment to planning, design, operation,
maintenance and measures for reducing costs. Depending on professional demands
we offer seminars on wind turbines with and without grid connection, on small
turbines or large wind farms.
Our course participants represent companies
extending their business areas or freshly entering the wind energy sector
(retooling), financial institutions, insurance companies, wind turbine or
component manufacturers, suppliers, project planners, grid operators,
regulating authorities and public administrations.
RENAC seminars are conducted in
German and English. Apart from our open courses we also provide
company-specific in-house training in Germany and abroad. Our
Berlin-based training centre, which is available as a mobile unit, allows us to
carry out practical exercises and experiments. These improve understanding and
facilitate the application of fresh knowledge back at the workplace.
Apart from our qualification
provisions for industry and administration we specialise in the international
transfer of know-how. Co-operating with the Federal Ministry for the
Environment, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, IRENA, gtz and
others we have successfully trained engineers, technicians and decision-makers
from four continents in renewable energy technologies.
