RENAC’s seminars cover the whole renewable energy value chain. Since our founding in January 2008, over 1,200 participants from more than 96 countries have benefited from our expertise in the areas of renewables technology, financing, management, market development, policies and incentive frameworks. RENAC offers practical training on wind-, solar- and bio-energy as well as combined plant and island systems. In our Wind Training Center we provide those from both technical and non technical backgrounds with the material they need for a thorough understanding of wind power systems. The theoretical subject matter is enhanced with measurement exercises and countless practical experiments using laboratory wind turbines. Participants will come away equipped with the knowledge they need about project and site management, project financing, ecological assessments as well as the design of wind energy projects. From courses on individual components right through to complex topics such as combined plant including wind, photovoltaic and storage components (hybrid systems) or stand-alone systems for rural areas, RENAC offers targeted training – either through open programs or courses customized to meet the specific needs of companies or public bodies.
By limiting the number of participants, we create a friendly learning atmosphere in small groups. Numerous practical experiments, group work, case studies combined with excursions and visits to operating plant enhance participants' understanding of the subject matter and so offer a key to successful learning.
