Your first point of contact for the grid integration of your generating plant – professional, reliable, accredited

For 90 years, FGH has been providing professional advice and tailored services for the full spectrum of issues relating to electricity supply. With the first accredited certification body for certifying the power generating characteristics of distributed generation units, FGH has been a pioneer and market leader in the tested grid integration of power from renewable energy sources since 2004. The certification is accompanied by R&D activities in the areas of grid studies, secondary technology and smart grids, and by the provision of the market-leading mobile LVRT test laboratories. In 2009, FGH issued Germany’s first unit and plant certificates in accordance with the connection requirements of the BDEW Medium-Voltage Directive and the System Service Ordinance.

Since the first grid-connection rules were published, FGH has been involved in their development and updating. FGH is laying national and international foundations for appropriate guidelines and testing procedures. Since 2008, FGH has significantly advanced the development of FGW Technical Guideline no. 8 and has led the associated working groups. Experience from the relevant committees, together with FGH’s high level of specialised and methodological expertise, ensures that manufacturers and plant operators receive the best possible quality and technical accuracy in the evaluation and SDL certification of their units and plant. FGH is continuing to further develop its methods and knowledge in a number of national and international R&D projects. It then shares this knowledge with a broad range of industry experts in regular seminars, meetings and workshops. This breadth forms the basis of the quality of our work and our market leadership.
