seebaWIND Service is an independent provider of services for wind turbines, specialising in turbines made by Nordex, REpower and Fuhrländer. seebaWIND Service provides technical
management including 24/7 remote monitoring, as well as the servicing,
maintenance and commissioning of wind turbines. Since it was founded in 2009,
seebaWIND Service has made a name for itself and established itself nationwide
as a reliable partner. At the start of this year, the company, with its
headquarters in Osnabrück, was already managing 250 wind turbines with a
capacity of 400 MW. "We owe this success to the expertise, long-ranging

seebaWIND Service employees are united in their dedication to their work. They
are highly qualified and have a great deal of experience managing different
types of turbines. Our team is made up of well-trained service engineers with
an extensive knowledge of REpower MD/MM, Nordex and Fuhrländer platforms. All
employees receive further training on a regular basis to ensure that they can
always meet the high demands made of them.
Technical management with 24/7 remote monitoring
seebaWIND Service can, depending on the support required, take on a wide range
of tasks relating to technical management. Last year, the company acquired an
ultra-modern remote control centre, which can retrieve status and error
messages in close to real time. Employees see the messages immediately and
react straight away. This means that turbines generally only have a downtime of
one or two minutes when there is a malfunction. Thanks to our company's service
expertise, our employees can also carry out repairs, if desired.
Service and maintenance
Our company's service and maintenance developed out of its management
activities. seebaWIND Service now offers its clients various service packages -
from basic care all the way through to full maintenance. In this way, seebaWIND
Service has adopted an approach based on partnership. So its employees and clients
together make up a team. By responding quickly and carrying out ongoing
maintenance works, our employees ensure that turbine downtimes will be kept to
an absolute minimum and their optimum economic efficiency will be achieved. If
desired, the client can set a technical minimum availability and failure to
achieve this level will then result in contractual penalties.
An unrivalled replacement parts service
The availability of replacement parts and of major components also plays an
important role in determining the profitability of turbines. By having our own
extensive pool of replacement parts and as a member of several purchasing
pools, seebaWIND Service ensures a highly reliable supply of replacement parts
and major components which can be accessed directly. Replacement parts depots
are stocked according to actual demand.
Wind Net Work - the service centre of excellence
seebaWIND Service is part of the Wind Net Work, the only
manufacturer-independent centre of excellence for REpower MD/MM models and Nordex
and Fuhrländer turbines in Germany. Various service providers from the wind
energy sector have come together in this centre of excellence. Together they
provide combined expertise and skills for the professional management of major
projects. The Wind Net Work, with 12 service support centres, has a presence
across Germany. As a member of this network, seebaWIND Service can provide its
clients with the flexibility of a small company and the performance of a large
company at the same time.
