The UKA corporate group specialises in wind energy. Its main business is the development, planning, financing and operation of wind energy projects. The company was founded as UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen Meißen GmbH in 1999. In 2011 the group employed just over 100 employees on three sites (Cottbus, Meissen and Rostock). With its environmentally-friendly project development, business know-how, safety awareness and integrity, UKA achieves the goals it sets. UKA develops financing concepts which are individually tailored to owners - in addition, the subsidiary UKB (Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen Betriebsführung GmbH) has taken over the technical and commercial management of wind turbines and, with its experienced team of professionals, it ensures continued expert support for completed projects .
