Umwelt Management AG has been committed to the long-term potential of renewables for many years. As of 2011 we have achieved 48 projects with a total output of about 500 MW. UMaAG stands for experience, competence, flexibility and drive – an ideal platform for tackling the future. Much of Germany’s renewable energy potential is still untapped. Apart from wind energy, we are also looking at other renewables, where projects have now reached the planning or project assessment stage. Whatever the project, UMaAG always works true to its core principle that everyone should benefit: the environment, investors, partners and the company.

UMaAG works in the fields of wind energy, solar energy and biomass. This range of business fields provide us with a perfect strategic platform for the future. At the same time it extends the potential for co-operation with external partners.

In the coming years our excellent market position in the field of wind energy will be extended further and transferred to other fields. What is true for past projects is also true for the future: Potential is there to be discovered, used and safeguarded.

Fairness and a partnership approach are central to UMaAG’s philosophy. This explains how an investment volume of around € 850 million could be generated within the last few years. A large part of this was made available to the SPVs by private investors. Our experience throughout the stormy development of the sector has led us to develop quality standards, which we have turned into fundamental principles to secure our future through intelligent solutions. These standards and principles are constantly reworked and developed based on new knowledge gained. UMaAG for example only implements projects that can convince the competent staff in our internal departments to 100%. Amongst others, the company provides:
