Wilh. Lambrecht GmbH was founded in 1859 and ranks as one of the most experienced manufacturers of meteorological instruments. Over the last 15 years the demands placed on these instruments by wind turbine manufacturers were taken as an incentive for our own R&D and for targeted implementation. The sensors developed for wind turbines range from classic anemometer/tail vane combinations to complex measurement systems with static and dynamic components and measurement of various environmental parameters. Meeting the demands of cold climate applications, both static and dynamic ice-free sensors were developed which have been successfully applied since 2007.
