WindStrom has been founded in 1992 as an individual enterprise and has developed into a successful medium-sized group positioned nationally and internationally. Our business segments are project development, financing, building and marketing of turn-key wind parks as well as their technical and commercial management.

We have already built more than 281 wind energy plants with an output of approximately 480 MW in Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and Bavaria; additionally, 54 wind energy plants with an output of approximately 106 MW have been sold as cleared building plots in Germany, Italy and France. Due to the fact that wind energy is one of the most economical forms of regenerative power generation, our portfolio is constantly growing – i. a. we are developing projects in France, Italy, Poland and Bulgaria.

Apart from our head office in Edemissen, located approximately 35 km east of Hannover, we have branch offices in Oyten near Bremen, as well as in Kaufering near Landsberg/Lech. Our branch offices in Auray (France), Poznan (Poland), Foggia (Italy) and General Tosheva (Bulgaria) give us direct access to the respective local markets.
