WKA-Service-Fehmarn GmbH is specialized in the
field of rotorblade service and rotorblade repair of wind turbines and also
offers the renewal of blades.
Due
to the worldwide unique service platform technology, WKA-Service-Fehmarn GmbH
is able to carry out rotor blade
maintenance and repair in any position on the wind energy blade. Every day, 29 service platforms are used for
national and international assignments.
The Rotor
blades are inspected by using special rope-assisted access methods, while the findings are used as the basis for
repair recommendations and long-term maintenance strategies.
Repair,
retrofitting and reinforcement measures of the blades are handled in the company’s own workshop.

well as developing customised repair and maintenance concepts for
many different types of rotor blade.
Since
2006, the company has been certified in compliance with the standards of‘Germanische Lloyd Windenergie’.
Our
recently extended software/hardware solution for damage inventory, report
preparation and documentation of the rotor blade maintenance history transfers the type of damage recorded in the repair and inspection report to a visual
version of the rotor blade where the damage is shown in the form of a damage
representation. This allows the customer to read and evaluate the repair and
inspection report to suit their individual requirements. The software can
further be used to archive all types of damage and in the medium term set up a problem analysis database for different types of
rotor blade.
