Throughout Europe, wpd is currently developing offshore wind projects with a rated output of 10 gigawatts. Four approved projects in the North and Baltic Sea were sold to the energy supplier EnBW and will be built in cooperation with wpd as project manager. One of the first commercial offshore wind plants Baltic 1, attended by wpd, has been built in 2010. wpd develops offshore projects in Germany,Sweden, Finland, Denmark,France and Italy.
